Going Teal is going global

The June 22nd meeting of one of London's three Teal communities of practice.
Discovering common interests at the June 22nd meeting of the Teal Community of Practice (UK).

From Australia to Spain, new groups are being formed by people inspired to create the organisational shift to toward the ‘Next Stage’. Frederic Laloux terms this the ‘Teal’ stage – where hierarchical structures give way to flexible, self-managing teams of people bringing their whole selves to their work, organized around an evolutionary purpose.

Translation of Laloux’s book Reinventing Organizations is happening, into at least a dozen languages

Other countries include Canada, UK, Denmark, Germany, the US, Spain, New Zealand, Sweden and South Africa.

Cities too are getting their own groups. The first cities include Budapest, London (which has at least three!), Berlin, San Francisco, New York, Seattle and Paris. Many groups are planning face-to-face meet-ups. Sectoral groups are also beginning to emerge in areas including scientific R&D, business schools and manufacturing.

Translation of Laloux’s book Reinventing Organizations is happening, into at least a dozen languages. Danish and German versions are already published. There are plans for Catalan, Dutch, Polish, French, Russian, Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese, Spanish, Hungarian, Portuguese, and Italian versions which are in the making. There might be others too that we don’t know of. If you’re involved with the translation to any language please us know.
