Interesting news Lisa…
Makes me think that it surely can’t be that long until the ‘Reinventing Organizations’ documentary emerges too… 😉
It surely wouldn’t be difficult to persuade Brian Robertson, Frederic Laloux, Tony Hsieh to contribute – along with some weighty business academics – perhaps Gary Hamel, Julian Birkinshaw, Lynda Gratton (Frederic will know who the biggest names are who are embracing this shift. Perhaps Daniel Pink is?
But what’s perhaps most needed, most inspiring is hearing from everyday individuals who work in thriving ‘Next Stage’ organisations – seeing people like you and me. This is what will make it finally appear normal, rather than an exotic fringe.
We heard from one or two such voices in the BBC’s ‘Companies without Managers’ https://enliveningedge.org/media/business-thinker-gary-hamel-tells-bbcs-companies-without-managers-how-residual-beliefs-sabotage-self-management/ – but we need to hear more.
We need their voices to fill a documentary – for the whole world to view! 🙂

I love the idea of a documentary! I know there is a French one and a German one (not about Reinventing Organisations specifically, but with similar themes) but it’s hard to get hold of English subtitled versions.
This is wonderful! We need more of such tools to change the thinking of the managers and employees of today!
